She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and professional liability insured. She helps businesses with strategic planning and continual improvement with best practices in accounting and operations. Her clients include a range of industries, performing and visual arts educations, human resource recruiters, architects, home remodeling contractors, real estate, rental property investors, restaurants, retail shops and independent contractors.

Melissa is a graduate of the University of Kansas. She moved to the East Coast in 1994, first to Charlotte, North Carolina and then to Alexandria, Virginia. She has managed several Alexandria business over the last 15 years, including The Healing Tree and Maid to Clean. Her career path has always revolved around working directly with clients and providing a great product or service. She is a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family, travel, sailing, painting with pastels and playing Irish fiddle with a local Del Ray band.

Kate Aplin is a former software engineer with a degree in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College. Her background helps her intuitively aid clients with a large variety of third party and industry specific applications to streamline their business needs. Using her technical expertise, she is quickly taking on a variety of non-profit, architecture, restaurant, and other clients. Kate is certified in QuickBooks Online.

Nick is a graduate of James Madison University and of Northern Virginia Community College where he studied business and hospitality management. He combines the customer service and attention to detail of hospitality with the hard skills of college business courses in his work. His prior work experience includes face-to-face and administrative roles across the hospitality industry. Nick is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. When not working, you can find him playing or watching sports or exploring the local area with his dog Sadie for the best food and new experiences.
